Good?
Bad?
Indifferent?

Your mood is calm and you seem content to go along with
what others want. Fortunately, others seem to want much the
same as you do, so there shouldn't be any conflict of interest.

You're in a rather secretive mood today, and with good cause.
A delicate mood of romance has gripped you and you'll drift
off into a world of daydreams again and again. Your thoughts
of the way things could be may be rather unrealistic, but it
does help to engender a passionate atmosphere, which will be
fulfilled...in the short term, at least. A person you've
admired from afar may respond subtly today.

Friday's was:
Your confidence could take a slight knock today. Someone
may upstage you or make you feel small, and you may wish
you had more money or status. Remember that materialism
isn't everything.
It was right on...
Today's is:
There is no point in concentrating on any kind of objective
today because fate conspires to mess everything up! You
may feel as though you are trying to walk with marbles in
your shoes or talk with a mouth full of cherry pips. In short,
try to relax and make the minimum of effort in any direction.
We'll see...

Saturday's was true to its word...
Here's the one for Sunday:
Rely on your instincts today. Things are changing around you
and it may be hard to work out just what your next move should
be. Try to go slow and avoid committing yourself to anything
that will work against you in the long term. Your mood is
suprisingly sexy today, so if you want one area of your life
in which to try something new, this could be it!

Today's was:
Everything seems a bit dull and mundane to you today, and
your rather restless mood will make you yearn to visit
far-flung places. If your lover suggests you start planning a
trip you'll jump at the idea, and practical matters such as time
or money will be beside the point.
Didn't happen...however, the alochol consumption did.

alternatively, an authority figure will offer you some good
advice and a helping hand. Your mind is full of great ideas

Autumn, thankfully, blew today's up,
Thursday's is:
Today is one of those strange days when the planets are not
making any major aspects. Astrologers call this kind of day
'void of course', meaning that the Moon's path, or course, is
unaspected. There is nothing special about this, except for the
fact that it's not worth starting anything new. Leave any
important projects for a more auspicious time.

Today's Full Moon puts the spotlight on your career. There
have been a lot of changes going on around you and within
you. Now you have to decide exactly what you want, and in
which direction you should proceed. Before you can act you
need a plan, so take some time to make sure that your
strategies for progress are workable. Employers and authority
figures will be impressed by your drive and determination.

Many of your most cherished desires take a step nearer to
fulfilment as the red planet Mars enters your horoscopic area

Male friends are especially important now, as they can point
you in directions that you hadn't previously considered. This
period should see a rapid upturn in your social life.

You will be more at ease with yourself today than for some

These mothers are either wonderful or not really maternal

The movement of the Sun into your solar twelfth house
suggests that the next month will be rather quiet and
solitary. You may be quite busy on a day-to-day basis
but behind this lies a need to retreat and reflect upon
your progress. This is a wonderful time to repay anything
that is owed to others, in the form of money, goods or
obligations.

Sagittarius
August 8, 1998
A great day for communicating your ideas and opinions to others; when even those who consider themselves superiors will be hanging on your every word and asking you for input. You may even surprise yourself with some original thought or plan which you did
n't know you had in you. You have a visionary zeal about you today which will make everyone around you sit up and take notice. Others will appreciate what you have to say. A parent or child could seek you out to have a private talk, try not to be surprise
by any revelations.
And Sunday's:
Your genius is matched only by your spaciness. People find you funny
without necessarily understanding a word you say. Get others to tell you
their stories so you can pick and choose the best and increase your
repertoire. At a certain level, all experience is connected, so keep your
eye on the other members of your group when making plans. Expand your
horizons by taking on something new; a dance class, a computer program,
or a new artistic means of expression. Learn from other people's mistakes.

You won't get very far without the support of friends or family, so don't

I'd have to say I had an engaging time with a very good woman friend
tonight. We went to see the new Gary Sinese and Nicholas Cage movie. It
was a good night.
Now, let's see what's in store for us Sag's tomorrow, Riette.
Your mood is an inspiration to children. Adulthood doesn't have to be a
boring proposition after all. Playing games is research and development
in its purest form. Delight your childish side with something silly, like
a giant bouquet of balloons. Borrow someone else's children for an outing
to the zoo or the playground, followed, of course, by ice cream
afterward. A bit of unplanned travel may be dropping some getaway tickets
into your hands at some point.

Sagittarius
You probably had very vivid dreams last night and you're still feeling a
bit dreamy. Your energy will be high today but there may be something
which is not quite right -- something you cannot put your finger on. Keep
busy and it will pass. Try to bury your head in the sand, or, failing
that, in work. In fact, you can get a lot done today if you keep your
nose to that famed grindstone. A co-worker may be asking you to take on
part of an onerous task; it's not your job but you could make a few

Hmm - horroscope not too far off. I did have weird dreams last night, which left me tired, and a bit out of sorts today. Started a new picture, but I'm unhappy with it, yet don't want to just throw away a brand new canvas. What a pain. At least I managed to post a picture in art - what a cheering thought! HURRAH!!

The entry of Venus into its natural home will do your

Week of August 13, 1998
When Henri Matisse's
painting "Le Bateau" was
first shown at New York's
Museum of Modern Art in
1961, it was mistakenly
hung upside-down for a
month and half. I have
reason to believe that a
beautiful part of your
own world is similarly
inverted right now. Are
you perceptive enough to
spot the transposition?
Are you brave enough to
admit it and shrewd
enough to correct it? Or
is it so painful to deal
with this small mistake
that you'll allow it to
mushroom into a gaping,
long-term error?

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21)
Week of August 13, 1998
According to my reading
of the astrological
vibes, you will laugh
more this week than you
have in many moons.
Harder and longer, too.
Contradictions that in
the past may have made
you grind your teeth will
now detonate your giggle
reflex. Awkward moments
which you might take too
seriously at any other
time will seem like
entertaining slapstick.
And then there's the fact
that life in your
vicinity is just going to
be a lot funnier than
usual. This could seem
inconvenient, I suppose.
What if you're convulsed
with guffaws at a moment
when you want to show how
serious you can be? My
advice is to avoid all
situations that would
require you to be sober
and dignified. Give
yourself the luxury of
surrendering to the
divine heehaw as much as
possible.

This is a day to make promises of love, loyalty, or intent. Sign all
contracts and commit to something that has tremendous payoff. Do not
speak without thinking or act without adequate preparation. A sincere
smile and a direct gaze go a long way toward helping your cause. Rather
than trying to impress people with stories about your greatness, take an
interest in themselves and their abilities. Feel confident that you can
rely on your partner, either in your personal life or in the workplace.

Don't bother buying a lottery ticket today -- there are better days to
win. In fact, your luck isn't exactly in today at all. Finances don't
seem so bright today, so focus your mind on creating better systems at
work. Try to streamline your tasks, and if necessary, bring in some help
for your tougher jobs. There may be someone in your office who's just
dying to win the extra prestige that a big job could garner so don't be
selfish about giving someone else a chance. You may be questioning the
ethics of someone close to you.

The Nyanja tribe of Malawi has a proverb which roughly translated reads, "If you should find the residents of a place frying their eyes, fry yours also." I guess that makes sense in some cases, especially if the eye-fryers have the power to make you so happy and rich that you don't mind being as blind as they are. But I'd like to offer you a healthier alternative which will be just as effective for your needs this week, and far less costly. It's this Moroccan proverb: "If you find the residents of a place

You may feel overwhelmed today with lots of things happening but no clear place to start. Papers may pile up in your inbox at work, or you may receive a lot of bills at once and may wonder how you're going to handle all your expenses. It's important to take it easy and get organized first -- which may not be as simple as it sounds! Take note of how much you're making at work and where the money is being spent. Some of your expenses may surprise and dismay you -- it may be time to cut back on some luxuries

While I'm sorry about the two of you feeling a bit down today, it is comforting to know we have men here who show all the signs of non-jerkiness. Only people with not-too-big egos ever doubt themselves/what they are doing/where they're going. I find it attractive in the sense that it's such a human thing to do. It shows that you care about what you are, and how you're getting on with your life and the people in it. It's when you stop caring that you should get really really worried. The important th
ng is not only to listen to oneself, but also to the people who love you. Ask them too what they think, where they think you're going, whether what you're doing is worth while - I think that often the people who love us are better able to see the good in what we do than we can ourselves.
It's funny, you know.
When I read your and Wer's, and Ray's, and Wolf's and Autumn's, and everyone elses posts, I always think: wow, these people have done so much, have achieved so much, their path ahead is so well lit and certain. Why is it not the same with me? And then there comes a post like Ray's this morning, and I realize with a smile: we probably all think the same thing about each other! It's just nice to find out every once in a while.
°BIG HUG°
As far as the video is concerned - I'll do it, but you will be mega dissappointed, I'm sure, so be warned. My 'studio' is VERY VERY MESSY, and will shatter every romantic view everyone has ever had about artists' studios. Mine contains books, my hi-fi, more books, two pianos, the computer, pictures, vandalized canvasses - stuff like that. Nothing of the white and smart look, and I stand my canvasses on a stool, not necessarily the easel - but that's the way I like it, and I'm not changing it. So if it
s not what you had in mind, I'll save you the trouble.
Also, can I just send you the original little cassette? Because if I convert it onto video, it'll be PAL VHS, and I know you use NTSCH or whatever in America. Is that a problem?

Today is a great time to strike up conversation with somebody you don't know. A stranger on the bus or a friendly face at the corner store may turn out to be your next best friend. That person you always see on your way to work or wherever it is that you go may be impressed by your outgoing, eccentric nature, so turn on the charm. It seems that many are listening to what you have to say, and you feel perfectly assured. This is a great day to communicate, so plan to make speeches and presentations.
Hmm, first thing when I came to work I was heavy into communicating with everyone on my project today. Anyone out here I don't know yet? If there is, let's talk!

If they really followed the Zodiac, that would not have made much difference,
since both would have been on the cusp.

all i know is my aries daughter is a go-getter. she is a mother-hen, bossy, and so sweet that it's unbelievable. my son, the gemini, is shy, has problems doing one thing at a time (typical of us) and butts heads with me (another gemini); however, my kids do fine together. which explains why my daughter and i are close and my son and i are not. AND why my daughter and son are close. now my husband is like a fish out of water--he's a pisces.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)
Week of January 7, 1999
The ancient Greek word klimax had several meanings. My favorite: a
ladder to heaven by which a dreamer's soul arrived at an erotic tryst
with a divine being who imparted precious secrets. I bring this up,
Cancerian, because I believe the fates will bestow the gift of a klimax
on you this week. I hope you'll keep a pen and notebook by your bed so
you can scribble down a record of your electrifying rendezvous right
after it occurs. I swear it'll become a metaphorical talisman for you,
the symbol of a new chapter in your mythic quest for intriguing love.

My 'scope says, there's a dark beer awaiting me at superstar's office in Frankfurt, well - you'd guess it's a very unhip bar, but it's my home away from home.
And: that beer'll be used to wash down something that proprietor cooked up...

Hmmm, been three years...
Well, here goes mine for today, and it would be a nice turn of events...
"Did you ever get the fortune cookie telling you that you're likely to be at the center of any group's attention? If so, you must have done something to make it come true, because now everyone is staring at you, waiting for you to do something wonderful. Once you get over your self-consciousness, you'll appreciate your good luck. This is the time to try out a different routine or send up a trial balloon. The giving flows both ways, too. If you seek knowledge, someone here will be able to answer your questions."

This is what http://astrology-online/sagittar.htm sez about my sign.
Sagittarians have a positive outlook on life, are full of enterprise,
energy, versatility, adventurousness and eagerness to extend experience
beyond the physically familiar. They enjoy travelling and exploration, the
more so because their minds are constantly open to new dimensions of
thought. They are basically ambitious and optimistic, and continue to be
so even when their hopes are dashed. Their strongly idealistic natures can
also suffer many disappointments without being affected. They are
honorable, honest, trustworthy, truthful, generous and sincere, with a
passion for justice. They are usually on the side of the underdog in
society they will fight for any cause they believe to be just, and are
prepared to be rebellious. They balance loyalty with independence.
Sagittarians are usually modest and are often religious, with a strong
sense of morality, though they tend to overemphasize the ethical codes
they follow and worship beliefs about God rather than God Himself. This
means that, negatively, they regard rigid, unloving, intolerant adherence
to ritual and conventional codes as more importa
