My daughter in law had such luck with her herb garden this last summer she had to make pesto and freeze it for later use before the first frost killed it.I want to grow Rosemary. I love the scent and flavor, and it makes great skewers for grilling!

oooh! I love rosemary too. I had a good bush going last year but it was overwatered in my absence and died a very wet death...

That overwatering happens more frequently than drought does. That is why roses rot in Hilo but are beautiful on the leeward Kona side of the island. If I want rosemary, I have to grow it in a big pot under the eaves on the southeast corner. Louisville will be perfect for it. Tennessee, even better.
What do I do with a man who hates raw onions and tomatoes? I feel very deprived!
He does smoke so I could just excuse the onion as pauback, but it is not like me to do that. Sneak some into his meals?
