Topic 4 of 395: Windows 95

Wed, Jul 10, 1996 (16:15) | Paul Terry Walhus (terry)

As much as there's talk of Netscape introducing applications that
run on the desktop, let's face it, Microsoft owns the desktop and
nearly all the applications that Forrest Stroud run under Windows
95. In this Windows 95 only item, we'll discuss how you get Windows 95
to talk to your local internet service provider (ISP), how you install
new applications under Windows 95 and how you unintall old ones. We'll
try and take some of the mystery out of getting up and running on the
net.
