Midi Gate -- Midi Gate is a small application designed to function
as an external helper client for playing Midi files from within web
browsers. Midi Gate can also be used as a standalone client for
playing local Midi files. Features in Midi Gate include seek and save
capability, scan for text, General Midi/GS (Roland)/Patch reset
keys, and automatic termination.

Overall, Midi Gate is a useful application but is limited to only playing
Midi files. If your needs in this area tend to be high, you'll likely
find that Midi Gate is a valuable client, but if you're not a serious
Midi user, you'll probably prefer a client that plays a variety of audio
files.

Pros: Plays all your favorite Midi files and functions great as a web
browser helper app
Cons: Only plays Midi files, some users will find more value in
multi-format audio app

New: Stay on top feature, queue an unlimited number of files,
looping and auto-exit control
