Topic 19 of 395: WHAM - short for Waveform - Hold and Modify

Wed, Jul 24, 1996 (10:07) | Paul Terry Walhus (terry)

WHAM -- WHAM, short for Waveform - Hold and Modify, is an
application for manipulating digitized sound. It will play many types
of audio files, including AU, AIFF, IFF, VOC, and WAV. WHAM
can also record sound if you have a sound card. Files of any size
can be handled, and there are many configurable options for
manipulating sound files. This client is easy to use and comes with a
solid on-line help system. WHAM is donation-ware ($20-30), but it
hasn't been updated in almost a year. Positives: Digitized sound
manipulation, play and record many types of sound files Negatives:
Hasn't been updated in a long time; there's not a real high need for
sound clients
